On 6th July 2022 our Mother Provincial Sr. Meena D’Silva arrived at Auxilium International Pre-School for an official opening visit. Our learners led Sr. Meena from the entrance towards the school with greetings as they waved pom-poms. The facilitators too lined up to welcome Mother Provincial with warm regards. Sr. Meena greeted everyone with a big smile. Sr. Meena accompanied by Sr. Magdeline Sequeira, our Superior and Sr. Gloria Ferrao, joined us for the celebration, our learners welcomed Sr. Meena with an action welcome song, thanking and blessing her for her countless contribution to AIPS. We then invoked God’s blessing by singing ‘It’s a great day’. Our learners then presented a sports relay of all the sports activities they had learnt so far, with great enthusiasm and energy as the music played in the background. Ms. Abigail Tixeira, our Academic Head, then expressed our gratitude on behalf of everyone at AIPS for all the support to turn the dream of AIPS into a grand reality. Our learners and facilitators extended this gratitude by saying a few words of appreciation. As the programme came to an end, Sr. Meena appreciated the efforts of everyone to put up the programme. We then proceeded to take a group picture. Sr. Meena engaged our young learners in a conversation speaking to them about the school and all their learnings. This was a very special moment for us all, the learners too were all wanting to express themselves to Mother Provincial. The programme concluded on a very happy note with the blessings of our Mother Provincial Sr. Meena D’Silva.
